Too true! I looked into getting solar panels, but between the house orientation, the trees, the expense, and the ridiculous, inherent inefficiency of solar panels, the payback period exceeded the expected life of the sun. So instead I decided to go with a “biofuel.”
Let’s just say my neighbors aren’t real crazy about my smoldering pile of peat moss. I guess they aren’t real big environmentalists.
Hey Planet Moron, long time no see! I was worried you didn’t come by the site anymore! My co-worker got solar panels on his roof several months ago and he does save a lot of money on his energy bill now, but…man, a HUGE cost up-front that I’m just not sure is worth it. But, what the hell do I know…I live in an apartment with a refrigerator so old, the freezer originally had dodo meat in it.
