I remember the first year they did that quest. He was so heavily farmed it was almost impossible to complete it. I finally did though. I lost track if that was 2 years ago or 3 years ago. He was up in the snow in Alterac.
Now they’re leaning towards the headless horsemen / brewfest boss thing though. So I hope they do something like that for Greench instead, that’d be fun!

I absolutely remember him being heavily, heavily farmed up in Alterac. It was fun, but it was nuts. People were ganking all over, and lowbies were running around trying to tag the Greench…good times! I remember the other thing was to find Metzen the Reindeer, but I wasn’t high enough level then to do that…that was three years ago; Christmas ‘05. I can’t remember if you got a mount from either of those quests! Maybe you got some holly?
Yea you’d get the Holly to turn your pet into one.
I heard they just flipped the switch on this year’s Wintervale. I don’t participate in the holidays anymore unless they stick a boss in an instance somewhere. I don’t do anything anymore where I have to roll against people for gear.. Not worth my time..
