I wasn’t aware that even fairly low-level ice machines cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $1,500. Really makes me appreciate those two little flimsy plastic trays in my freezer a little bit more.

I appreciate my four plastic trays that are not filled at the moment and I appreciate my manual can opener. Everything else can be new fangled and up to the minute technologically speaking but those two things will remain for me as they were generations ago. Not that I wouldn’t like either but I just don’t have the space to give to something I can so easily do myself.
Can you even buy a fridge that doesn’t have water/ice built into the door?
George probably owns one of these: http://tinyurl.com/d8aulx
