I can’t solve that equation. I’m sure at one point in my life I could, which is really sad. I’m absolutely certain I was more knowledgeable about things like that when I was in sixth grade. Now, I can’t even figure out a 15% tip on a ten-dollar lunch.



Haha. After read this strip, I was compelled to solve it. Can’t believe I can still do algebra.

I got (3+- sqrt97) / 2. It looks easy, but then it simplifies to a problem that’s a real headache.
