Memories or Flashbacks?

George’s dad is not at all based on mine, but I love him anyway. I just completed another strip with George’s dad in it moments before writing this, and I think I’m going to bring him in more often. In other news, nobody really fills out those MySpace bulletin questionnaires anymore. I say good riddance.

Some of those questionaires on MySpace were pretty lame. I never touched em’ (okay – maybe once or twice). Good strip!

  2. George says:

Yeah, sometimes you gotta stretch the truth on your MySpace surveys. :) Nice!

  3. John Norton says:

Thanks, guys. I also never touched them, except for all those times.

  4. Absolutely love George’s expression in the third panel.

Those questionnaires on MySpace always reminded me of high school Slam Books. Remember those? Yeah, I’m glad that’s over too. :)

  5. Bearman says:

I don’t have Myspace but yet people still send me those damn questionairres via email

  6. John Norton says:

Damn, Lonnie…I DON’T remember slam books, but I just Googled the term and I definitely see the resemblance. Sometimes it’s good to be reminded of those things whenever you get the feeling that the next generation is ten times dumber than the last…helps you realize we’re all equally pretty dumb :D

You can’t escape them, Bearman. One day when MySpace is dead and gone, someone will give you a slam book.
