Okay, I’m sorry, that title was just a catchy hook and it’s completely untrue. More like, “Free Sketch For One Lucky Person Each Month!” That’s right, starting this month, everyone who comments on a comic or blog post gets entered into a monthly drawing where the winner gets a free sketch of the George character of their choosing. I love seeing new comments on the site, and lately I feel that I’ve been getting enough of them to start a monthly drawing like this. Just to be clear, you only have to comment once to get entered into that month’s drawing–there’s no benefit to spamming the site with comments about how hilarious and handsome I am (but it’s not prohibited, either). If you can’t bear the thought of not having your name drawn at the end of every month, you can always purchase a sketch (you can also click here for sample sketches). They’re just six bucks each, and that covers shipping and handling! As time goes on, I’d like to be able to offer more contests and special stuff like this. That all depends entirely on website traffic, though–the higher the traffic, the more cool stuff I’ll be able to give away! If that’s not a good reason to tell everyone you know (and even people you don’t) about how they should read George comics….well, I’ll try and think of a better one later.
