Highland Auction 2020
Seas the Day: Offshore Edition
Wednesday, April 15 – Saturday, April 18, 2020
All the ports are closed so we’re taking this year’s Auction “OFFSHORE”! When rough seas hit the world in early March, Highland’s teachers changed course without a hitch to keep the classrooms going and our students engaged. More than any other time in Highland’s 92-year history, our faculty and staff showed everyone why we have chosen this school – these teachers – to entrust with our children’s lives.
Highland’s annual Auction Gala is critical to our commitment to these extraordinary men and women. So as they jumped aboard to steer the Distance Learning ship, our Auction crew tacked to starboard and set up the Offshore Edition of our 2020 Seas the Day Auction. On April 15-18, you’ll be able to bid on auction items and support our exceptional faculty from the comfort and safety of your home. Your smartphone will be your “bid paddle”, and your whole family can get in on the fun.
All you have to do is register online (it’s FREE) at www.highlandauction.org. You’ll provide your mobile phone number and a credit card (for all the treasures you win). Then closer to the date you’ll get a text to establish your link and get the party started!
Meanwhile, we’re setting up multiple ports of call for you to review all the fabulous donations we’re received, and see some videos and pictures reminding us all of the reason WHY we do this. Our teachers.

Someone once said, “A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor.” Highland’s faculty and staff weather storms every single day. Fortunately, most are not Category 5 hurricanes like the coronavirus. But our teachers prove their mettle time after time in their commitment to teaching, guiding and loving our children. More than ever before, we owe them our support.
Join us for Seas the Day: OFFSHORE EDITION on April 15-18 and show them what they mean to us.
