I just upgraded from Flash/Photoshop CS3 to CS5, and I felt the same way I do whenever I make a big upgrade in my drawing/coloring tools…it feels a bit cumbersome and it’s not immediately apparent that it’s even worth upgrading, but I’m sure I’ll get used to it and grow to like it. Actually, I loved CS3 so much, I didn’t even bother upgrading to CS4, but I knew that if I didn’t upgrade to CS5, I was soon going to be yelling at kids to get the hell off my lawn.

Buying a bunch of cool stuff never really seems to make you happy in the end, does it? I mean, I guess I’m not saying anything new, here…after all, in the words of the Beatles, “I don’t care too much for money; money can’t buy me love.”  But in the words of Weird Al, “if money can’t buy happiness, I guess I’ll have to rent it.”
