Over at WebDesignerDepot.com, they’ve posted a list of 30 Funny Twitter Comics. It’s worth checking out for two reasons: 1) There are some really funny comics here that you’ll definitely appreciate if you’re a Tweeter; and 2) this George comic is featured as one of them! I’m really happy to be part of a list that includes such great comics, including one from webcomic juggernaut, Penny Arcade. If you’re into StumbleUpon or Digg, why don’t you give us some love with a thumbs-up or a digg? Or if you’re feeling particularly saucy, you might even tweet about it!

Seriously, everybody has a Twitter now. I really wish I had actually been using mine the entire time I’ve had it, because I would probably have like, 10,000 updates and thousands of followers, and absolutely no life. So….aside from the posts and followers, I’d be no different.

Who Twitters? That’s a question I see more and more on the web lately. Twitter membership is seemingly growing by leaps and bounds, and if you’re anything more than a casual internet surfer, you’ve probably heard of it. Heck, you may even already use it. I’m actually pretty far behind the times for only coming around to adopting it now. However! If you’re unfamiliar with Twitter, you’re probably familiar with either MySpace or Facebook, so I’ll explain it like this: You know those “status updates” on Myspace and Facebook where you can write a little blurb about what you’re doing right now? That’s what you do on Twitter. You write these little blurbs about what’s going on in your life, and people can “follow” you (i.e. be kept up-to-date with your Twitter posts) and you can follow them. It also keeps a log of all your past Twitter posts (called “Tweets”), so in essence, it’s like a tiny blog. You can then post a box that houses your most recent Tweet on your MySpace page, or any website of your choosing if you’re savvy enough. If you’re a normal internet user and you feel like it’s already a hassle to update your status on Myspace and Facebook and you don’t see the point of using Twitter, well, I guess I can’t blame you. But, it does offer a unique way for me to connect with you, my loyal and attractive readers, without having to make full-blown blog posts every three hours.

So, anyway, I’ve had a Twitter account for something like a year and a half, but it wasn’t until a few days ago that I started putting my Twitter feed here on George. If you scroll down and look beneath the tower ad that runs on the right side of the site, you’ll see a little box with my latest Tweet in it. Or, you can head over to http://twitter.com/georgecomics and follow my Twitter feed. That is, if you feel like it. No pressureDO IT NOW!!
